I Love Referral Customers!

More variety!!! I'm so satisfied with each of my 10 original {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} designs. Each one is uniquely different from one another, as I worked hard to make sure my designs will appeal to a large variety of personal tastes. It really makes me happy when my custom orders include a nice sampling from each collection! It keeps things super interesting and fresh for me, especially when I receive new color combination requests! :-) 


So, along those lines, time to switch it up again! It's back to the {{Custom Collection}} - Option #1! 


This design is actually one of my personal favorites (heck, in reality I love ALL of my designs, but this one especially!) .Why? Because it combines a few different "techniques" I have developed when creating each necklace. My "Classic Option #1" design features a little "intricate" beading (a la the {Intricate Collection}) along the sides of the necklace, then a "classic" cascade of beaded strands (a la the {Classic Collection}, specifically Option #3) along the bottom of the necklace. I love that I get to use all my fun tools for the same necklace! 

This necklace happens to be somewhat of a replica of the one I have used in my {jewelry by jessica theresa} "branding" pictures, as it features a little variety to showcase what I can do.

Like I said, this version of my {{Classic Collection}} is SUPER fun for me to create, due to the intricate woven sides of the necklace. Something about working extremely "intricately" with all the twisting and braiding makes me giddy. I love the super detailed stuff. It's all in the details!!

This custom necklace is for a referral customer! Another fabulous customer of mine gave one of my {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} necklaces as a gift, and a few days later she became a customer herself! Word of mouth is the absolute BEST way to promote and advertise, because it means my customers are happy and want to spread the love! This. Makes. Me. Giddy!!!

Just an FYI, I love love LOVE referral customers so much, that the referrer and the referree BOTH get 20% of their next order. It's a little appreciation gift for spreading the {jewelry by jessica theresa} love! :-)

Now down to the details! This necklace features intricately woven sides, and 8 cascading strands at the base. Per Penny's request, I made it in various shades of greens, grays, and black. I included LOTS of crystals and pearls to really make it shiny and catch the light!

Singing the Greens...

Next up is a {{Classic Collection}} - Option #2 necklace, made with my second most popular color combination....green, gray, and black! And I have to admit, I'm not a diehard lover of the color green....but after making necklaces with this color, I am now a huge fan! The different shades of greens, grays, and black are super striking together.

This {{Classic Collection}} necklace is for an amazing mama who is celebrating her stellar, hard-earned, post-children body with some new {[jewelry by jessica theresa}} bling!

She requested a custom {{Classic Collection}} necklace in the awesome winter color combination of green, gray, and black.

And, like I've mentioned before, since I never use a single color in my necklaces (ie...just plain "green"). this necklace features an array of greens, including lime green, hunter green, emerald green, and forest green. When you combine all those shades together, it really gives the "green" color an extra oomph of dimension!

This necklace also features various shades of gray, including dark graphite gray, a shiny silvery gray, and a matte gray. And of course, we have the color black interspersed throughout this necklace to bring all the colors together.

Lately, I've been trying to make my {{Classic Collection}} - Option #2 a little more versatile. So instead of just having the necklace hang "straight", you can twist one side 180 degrees to give it a super fun asymmetric draping look!

Or you can get even more creative and flip both sides in opposite directions to cascade the strands a little different, to give it a fresh new look!

Any time I twist one of my classic necklaces, I like to secure it with flowers to give it a fun, feminine, and multidimensional look. :-)

Because I Can't Help Myself.......

For me, creating these {{Super Statement}} necklaces is basically like creating a work of art. It literally begins as a blank canvas of beads and wire, just begging to be made into something amazing. I so carefully string each and every bead to lay appropriately amongst the rest. I choose each pearl and each crystal so that it creates just enough shine and sparkle in all the right places. You should see me when I make some of my creations, as I literally will run circles around my "creation station"....I stand up, walk around, kneel down, etc, just to be sure each beaded strand looks and behaves exactly how I want it to! ;-)

So here is my next {{Super Statement}] necklace! I created this one in my signature colors, with a little extra emphasis on the bright pinks and magentas. If you are gonna make a statement, why not go all out and make it with bright colors, right?? ;-)

This necklace features 20 strands of cascading seed beads, large and small crystals, and shiny pearls. I also used a bunch of silver sparkly "chip"-like beads that I retrieved from an old necklace my mom had hiding in the back of her jewelry box. I'm thinking they are circa 1980?? Can't really call that vintage quite yet, right?

Whenever I create a necklace with a specific color combo....ie, "pink"....I always use a range of various shades within the color to really give it some depth. For instance, nstead of just using "pink", I will use some magenta, dusty rose, fuchsia, watermelon, etc, just like you see in this necklace!

And once again, this necklace took me about 12 hours to start and finish. And I loved every second. The finished product literally makes me giddy!

I garnered my inspiration for this necklace from this lovely flower, which is made with bright pink and gray pattered fabric, and fun vintage gold findings. It's super bright and bold, and totally looks amazing next to the coordinating beads, pearls, and crystals.

I also found some awesome looking graphite gray beads that are shaped like cubes! They are extremely shiny and really catch the light, so I interspersed them throughout each strand. :-)

12 hours of crazy fun hard work!!!! <3

My Current Creation Obsession...

Next up.....


A necklace that has become my current obsession. I'm totally in love with it, and I'm silently crying inside that I have to package it up and send it off!!!

But it's going to be a fantastic gift that a loyal customer of mine will be giving to her niece! So that makes me happy. :-) I cannot wait to hear her reaction!

The pictures DO NOT do this necklace justice whatsoever. My husband's jaw dropped when he saw it in person this morning, because it just sparkles so much! And of course, you can't tell that in the picture. Booooo.

This necklace is a version of my {[Classic Collection}} - Option #3. It features 10 cascading strands of super shiny glass seed beads in gorgeous shades of pink, magenta, black, and graphite.


If {jewelry by jessica theresa} had an official jewelry "anthem"...this would be it. Tons of pink and black, tons of sparkle, and a big ol' WOWZER statement!

So, what is the appropriate action to take after making a necklace I love??? MAKE ANOTHER ONE!
And ANOTHER ONE! And that one is going on Etsy today. :-) Because I want nothing more than to spread the love!

Custom Order for a Purple {[Classic Collection}} Beauty

This past weekend, with the help of my FABULOUS husband, I finished 9 custom orders, totaling over 55 hours of work between Wednesday morning and Sunday night....

 ...and I must say, I LOVED EVERY SECOND! It's no surprise that I LOVE making jewelry, and now that my business is slowly but surely starting to pick up, I am on cloud nine. The momentum is rolling and I never want to stop! I can't wait to see what 10, 20, 30 years into the future brings. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I can't help but daydream about a storefront? Something more? I have so many ideas in my head just waiting to come to fruition... :-) 

This one is a custom order for the {{Classic Collection}] - Option #3...with six cascading strands of beads, layered to lay beautifully across the chest. Although I'm dying to tag my lovely customer on my facebook page photos, since I love her color choices so much, it's a gift and I have to remain mum! ;-)

I adore doing custom orders, because it's always a personal challenge of mine to make sure the customer's vision comes to life. In addition, it's always my goal to exceed the customer's expectations! :-)

This lovely repeat customer requested a Classic Collection necklace in shades of purple, black, gray, silver, and clear!

A little purple flower can be the perfect added touch to make it extra feminine!

This particular {{Classic Collection}} design is my favorite necklace to make and wear. It's just so darn classic! And SUCH a statement. :-)

Love these colors together! It's going to a good home! And I can't wait until she sees it! ♥

A Holiday-Inspired {{Beaded Cuff Collection}}

Back to another fun bracelet from the {[Beaded Cuff Collection}}! This one is a super fun cuff in the most perfect holiday colors...Red, Black, and Silver.

This one was an order for a fantastic repeat customer! She wanted more! LOOOOVE!

This cuff features the ultimate Holiday color combination....reds, silvers, and blacks. This cuff will compliment just about anything Holiday!

A Delightful Pink Custom {{Classic Collection}}!

Today I'd like to share with you all a little {Custom Collection} necklace for a friend of a friend, who had been (in her words) "stalking" my jewelry for several weeks now. She didn't want anything too bulky or expensive, as she requested smaller beads yet lots of cascading strands.

Pretty sure this is the BEST color combination ever! Not that I'm biased or anything....

With or without the flower, this necklace is rather awesome, if I do say so myself... ;-)

 

And the flowers are a super feminine bonus...as it gives the necklace the ultimate {jewelry by jessica theresa} signature look!

I added two pink flowers (but forgot to snap pictures with both!) and LOVED how it looked! So I sent it off this morning with both flowers because I couldn't resist! It's truly a {statement} piece!

One More Cuff for the {[Beaded Cuff Collection}}!

I made one more {{Beaded Cuff}} last night....mostly because I love them so much....and now I'm ready to list the collection on Etsy! When I first create a new collection, I usually wait to "list" it on Etsy until I have at least 3 or 4 pieces made. It feels more like a formal "collection" when I have a few different color combinations completed in each design by the time I'm ready to introduce it to the world!

I'm working on the Etsy listings now, so stay tuned!

 This next cuff features varying shades of rose pink, light pink, black, graphite, gold, and almond!

 

This fabulous color combination was actually chosen by my 4-year old son. Anyone who knows my little Kaden will tell you that he is the most color coordinated little boy in town. We definitely do not splurge on designer kids clothes in our house, but my children are both amazingly talented at color coordination! When it comes to personal style, I'm a FIRM believer that it's not the price of your clothing that matters....it's how you wear it and what accessories you wear with it!

 Anyways, my son Kaden is extremely interested in color. He is not only very particular about what HE wears, as Kaden is very contentious of what everyone in our household wears. He will call out his daddy if and when Brandon sits in his PJs for too long on any given weekend morning. He will scold me for not matching my running shoes to my running apparel for the day. And he has no problem telling his little brother to go change his shirt when it's too messy. It's cute and fun....to a point.

Anyways, since this bracelet features both silver findings AND gold beads, it can be worn with silver OR gold jewelry!

Why am I always so conscientious of silver and gold, you ask? Well, my wedding bands are a yellow gold, so metal color is always something I've been super conscious of. ♥

And why not add a flower! I spent a little time yesterday playing around with all my different colored flowers. This particular cuff looks amazing with this muted gold flower, or even a light pink and black flower! Or...all three! Why not? ♥

This cuff, like my others, features a 2-inch extender chain, therefore it can be worn tight to the wrist (as an official "cuff") or looser like a bangle.

When wearing the cuffs with the (totally removable, attached with broach pin) flower, I like to fasten them tighter to my wrist so it doesn't move around.

Fabulous with a black flower too! Since all of my flowers used in my {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} creations are attached to broach pins, you can place the flowers wherever you see fit!

Cuff, bangle, or however you decide to wear it, I can guarantee you will garner lots of compliments! Like I mentioned previously, I made a fun cuff just like this for myself (it's super girly....pink, lavender, and graphite gray of course!) and when I wore it running errands yesterday, I received three unsolicited compliments! SOOO elated! ♥
