My Current Creation Obsession...

Next up.....

A necklace that has become my current obsession. I'm totally in love with it, and I'm silently crying inside that I have to package it up and send it off!!!

But it's going to be a fantastic gift that a loyal customer of mine will be giving to her niece! So that makes me happy. :-) I cannot wait to hear her reaction!

The pictures DO NOT do this necklace justice whatsoever. My husband's jaw dropped when he saw it in person this morning, because it just sparkles so much! And of course, you can't tell that in the picture. Booooo.

This necklace is a version of my {[Classic Collection}} - Option #3. It features 10 cascading strands of super shiny glass seed beads in gorgeous shades of pink, magenta, black, and graphite.

If {jewelry by jessica theresa} had an official jewelry "anthem"...this would be it. Tons of pink and black, tons of sparkle, and a big ol' WOWZER statement!

So, what is the appropriate action to take after making a necklace I love??? MAKE ANOTHER ONE!
And ANOTHER ONE! And that one is going on Etsy today. :-) Because I want nothing more than to spread the love!

As long as I have a replica for myself that is....
Just sayin' ;-)

I so wish the photos would show the sparkle....
Because it also features tons of faceted crystals!!

I know I say I'm in love with every creation I make (which is totally true), but I am in SUPER LOVE with this one!

Take good care of it, Shelly! ♥ ♥ ♥

Thankful!

I'm feeling so incredibly thankful. I'm so proud of how far I've come with my jewelry business, and I'm SOOO THANKFUL for the support from everyone. I am totally not a "gushy" person in general, but I can't help myself.  I couldn't do this without my family, friends, customers, and fans.:-)

Business is starting to pick up the most wonderful way, and I am SO THRILLED! Right now as I look out my kitchen window, there is a crap-ton of snow on the ground, but I'm not sad about it, because I'm just so content, happy, and hopeful for the future. I've worked so hard, and I will continue to do so for years to come!

♥♥THANK YOU for being a part of my {jewelry by jessica theresa} journey. I can't wait to see what the future holds! ♥♥

I have sooo many pictures to upload and custom orders to show off, but for now, I will leave you with a cute picture of my son, Kellen. :-)

And maybe a picture of our family, including my parents (on the left), me, my hubby, and kids (in the middle), and my brother, sister-in-law, and their two awesome kids (on the right).

Love, Jessica :-)
And maybe I'll add a little picture of me at my "creation station" for kicks...

The Possibilities are Endless!!! :-) :-)

One of my favorite craft stores was having a decent sale last week, so I skipped over and took a peak.

Me + Craft Store + No Children = Heaven
Just sayin'...

Anyways! I all of a sudden became super inspired by all the beautiful tribal-infused beads, earthy tones, stone chip beads, detailed antiquey beads, and mixed metals I saw. So...I went to town....and bought a ton of these beads! I honestly have like 3,238 different ideas for them in my head right now! Can't wait to start designing, creating, and showing off what I'm envisioning in this chaotic brain of mine! ;-)

After spending a million hours organizing my stash of beads, I designed and created this beauty yesterday.......

Lots of cascading strands in earthy shades of copper, pewter, graphite, black, burgundy, and sandy brown.

All accent beads have intricate detailing to really give it that aged, antique look. It's a nice change from my typical bright {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} "style"!

 I. Am. Madly. In. Love. With. This. Necklace.

The mixed metals REALLY make me giddy. I absolutely LOVE this part of being a jewelry designer....all the different combinations! I am constantly being inspired by new beads, colors, designs, etc. I feel like I'm doing what I was BORN to do. :-) This isn't "work" for me at all....it's a passion!

I have to share with you all a little story. Yesterday afternoon, my parents were over for the Packer Game while I was making this necklace. My dad held up the finished product and said "Holy cow, Jess! You made this?! Wow. You need to go big with this jewelry thing!"

For a man of few words, those words made me ECSTATIC! Those of you who happen to know my (super intense, super intimating) dad, can likely vouch for the fact that words like that rarely....if ever....exit his mouth. Love you, daddy!

The possibilities are endless! And the thousands of ideas I have in my head will no doubt continue to grow! Please "grow" with me? I'm excited for what the future holds!!

Happy Halloween!

I've been up since 3am. Not sure if it's because I have too much on my mind....or....perhaps I'm still recovering from the sugar shock and my blood sugar is still 893.

Although, don't get me wrong here, as I do happen to have a significant fondness for this time of day. I've been an early riser since I was a little girl (4am is a totally normal wake-up time for me). I have always loved the early morning hours of silence, productivity, and the opportunity to fit in a great sweaty workout all before 7am.

But let's be honest, 3am is a little much. I'm totally going to blame it on the sugar. I've been a super dedicated vegetarian and healthy-eating freak for years, but if you put a bowl of candy in front of me, it's game over. I can pretty much guarantee that I will inhale the vast majority the bowl's contents in no time flat. Last night was no exception, as I wouldn't be surprised if I put down a good 6,000 calories in chocolate alone....

Anyways, in honor of my insomnia, enjoy these pictures of my cute kids on Halloween!

Preschool party! My son is the little Lightning McQueen race car driver in middle of the back row. I SWORE up and down that I never would buy my kids any "licensed character" stuff (aka....Lightning McQueen, Mickey Mouse, etc), but....I failed. The kid loves McQueen.

Trick-or-Treating with friends!

Isn't he cute?

Me and my boys at the preschool party! Love it, although I wish the baby was smiling...? Or at least content...? To say he's "high maintenance" is a total understatement...

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

New Website Design!

So. I redesigned by website. :-)

All you have to do is type in www.jessicatheresa.com and you will find everything! All the links you need. <3

I'd love feedback! What do you all think? As my 4-year old always says...."Talk to me! What do you think, mama? Talk to me!"

Feel free to let me know what you love/hate about the new design. Those of you who know me can likely vouch for the fact that I love to write and love to blog. I have blogged on and off for the last 10 years or so, mostly as a way to satisfy my love for writing. Therefore, now that I've started my jewelry business, I really want to get back into avid blogging again and connect with everyone. So please join me?

Anyways! I thought you all would like to know that I have learned how to "mommy rap". My 4-year continuously asks me to "sing" to him (not sure why...have you ever heard my voice? Most people plug their ears. Just sayin'...) For some unknown reason, instead of singing our usual songs, I decided to try some freestylin' today. Why? No clue. But one of my "mommy raps" went something like this:

My name is Mommy..
I like to wear pink..
Jewelry makes me happy..
And Kaden really stinks!

I'm pretty sure I opened a can of worms after singing my first "mommy rap", because my kids have been asking me NONSTOP for me to "freestyle" for them. Non. Stop.

Ok I'm being summoned to sing again. I will leave you all with a picture of me and my 4-year old making jewelry together... <3

Happy Birthday Brandon!

Last night I didn't get much done because it was my hubby's 30th BIRTHDAY!!!! Happy Birthday to the love of my life, Brandon! :-)
