The Possibilities are Endless!!! :-) :-)

One of my favorite craft stores was having a decent sale last week, so I skipped over and took a peak.

Me + Craft Store + No Children = Heaven
Just sayin'...

Anyways! I all of a sudden became super inspired by all the beautiful tribal-infused beads, earthy tones, stone chip beads, detailed antiquey beads, and mixed metals I saw. So...I went to town....and bought a ton of these beads! I honestly have like 3,238 different ideas for them in my head right now! Can't wait to start designing, creating, and showing off what I'm envisioning in this chaotic brain of mine! ;-)

After spending a million hours organizing my stash of beads, I designed and created this beauty yesterday.......

Lots of cascading strands in earthy shades of copper, pewter, graphite, black, burgundy, and sandy brown.

All accent beads have intricate detailing to really give it that aged, antique look. It's a nice change from my typical bright {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} "style"!

 I. Am. Madly. In. Love. With. This. Necklace.

The mixed metals REALLY make me giddy. I absolutely LOVE this part of being a jewelry designer....all the different combinations! I am constantly being inspired by new beads, colors, designs, etc. I feel like I'm doing what I was BORN to do. :-) This isn't "work" for me at all....it's a passion!

I have to share with you all a little story. Yesterday afternoon, my parents were over for the Packer Game while I was making this necklace. My dad held up the finished product and said "Holy cow, Jess! You made this?! Wow. You need to go big with this jewelry thing!"

For a man of few words, those words made me ECSTATIC! Those of you who happen to know my (super intense, super intimating) dad, can likely vouch for the fact that words like that rarely....if ever....exit his mouth. Love you, daddy!

The possibilities are endless! And the thousands of ideas I have in my head will no doubt continue to grow! Please "grow" with me? I'm excited for what the future holds!!

Neutrals and Greens {{Classic Collection}} Design!

I must admit....I've been up since 2:30am this morning. Not because I WANTED to, but because my littlest babe, Kellen, decided to give me a run for my money (err, a run for my sleep?). It took several attempts to get him back to sleep, but once I was finally successful, I was WIDE awake.

Any normal person probably would have taken that time to relax in bed, read, listen to sleepy music, etc in the effort to get themselves back to sleep. But not me. The crazy Type A personality residing in me decided to use that early morning quiet time to accomplish a few of the 2.349 things on my to-do list. So, I spent 5 hours this morning organizing my beads, cleaning the house a tad, and finishing up this creation....all while listening to some fabulous indie Christmas Music, sipping some Gingerbread flavored coffee, and spending some quality time with my beloved old kitty cat Millie.

So. Without further ado, allow me to show off this {{Classic Collection}} design! It features beautiful, neutral shades of creamy ivories, chocolate browns, tans, pearly whites, and pretty greens!
This necklace is highlighted by five beaded strands, carefully positioned to drape "classically" across the chest. A very timeless design in a very timeless color combination. :-)
No {jewelry by jessica theresa} necklace is complete without a few signature flowers, of course! This combination of creamy ivory and light brown flowers seems to be the most popular. I'm regularly getting requests for this "flowering" duo!
Flowers are always attached to broach pins, therefore they can be removed and repositioned as you see fit!
Looks just as stunning with the single flower! Why not pin the other one on your purse? Or your jacket! The "flowering" possibilities are endless....
This necklace features all glass beads, pearls, and gorgeous green stone chips to really make a unique statement. Shiny pearls juxtaposed with earthy stones? Why not! Some of my "fans" and customers had been requesting necklaces in more of the neutral tones. :-) I'm listening and appreciate all feedback!!! :-)
I made a custom-coordinated flower for this necklace, featuring the same green glass bead used in the design. This picture doesn't do this flower justice, but it's SO cute in person!

Omigod I need a new camera!!!
Is there a twitter hashtag for #AllIWantForChristmasIsAKickAssCamera??
No? Darn. ;-)

Ok that's all for now. It's PACKER SUNDAY! And we are hosting a little gig over at our house with my folks. Go Pack go!

Another Vote for {{The Classic Collection}}!

I'm sort of giddy right now. My {{Classic Collection}} designs are gaining popularity both on and off of my Etsy store!

(♥♥♥ Ummm....may I pretty please digress for a quick little second? Please allow me to casually mention that I much prefer my customers to buy my creations through my Etsy store rather than through email swapping, mostly due to the ease of organization and sale tracking. I'm a one-woman show and I'm teaching myself all-things-business as I go, so I prefer to rely on Etsy as much as I can! Many thanks! ♥♥♥)

Anyways, the momentum is starting, and I'm really getting excited!

This latest {[Classic Collection}} custom order is for a lovely customer in California, who found my shop on Etsy.  She loved my black, pink, and gray {{Classic Collection}} necklace I recently made, so she requested a replica, only with more pink and a few strands of larger beads. :-)

Why not snap a few pictures with the asymmetrical look! A personal favorite of mine for a little modernized twist to an otherwise {{Classic}} design.

And of course, this necklace is accented by the signature {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} flower!

I sooo need to make one exactly like this for myself. I had a hard time packaging it up to ship out! :-) :-)

Beautiful cascading strands of light pink pearls, pink glass beads, black and silver accents....and more PINK beads!

Going to a happy home!

New Classic Collection Listings!

Wow! I'm so happy and so thankful for the interest in my Classic Collection necklaces as of late. My Classic Statement necklaces are definetly the most popular! I have done more customs in the Classic Collection style than any other.

Based on the feedback I have recieved from my customers, I have now separated my {Classic Collection} custom listings into 3 different "options".  The basic theme behind the Class design is the multiple, single strands of beads draping across the chest. This look of cascading single-strands is a very timeless look that will be popular forever! I sported similar styles when I was a wee one and I am sure I will be sporting this look when I'm 70!

But! That doesn't mean I can't add some of my own {jewelry by jessica theresa} touch to this Classic design! So, I have come up with three "options" to showcase a little variation within this timeless look:

Option #1: This first Classic design is the most detailed, as it features intricate beading along the sides of the necklace, before the beads split off into the cascading strands across the base. Each side of has three strands of colored glass pearls, glass seed beads, crystals, and a vibrate metal chain, all of which are intricately twisted together to make a stunning single strand.

The base of this "Option #1" Classic necklace features 6-8 strands of assorted sizes of polished glass beads and glass pearls, accented by sparkling silver crystal beads and silver-plated metal beads. Each strand is slightly longer that the strand above, creating a beautiful, layered cascade of beads across the chest.

Retail price: Only $65.00 for a custom necklace made with all YOUR preferred colors! This price also includes 2 fabric flowers that will be made to perfectly coordinate with your chosen colors. These flowers are completely removable and adjustable, as they will be attached to the necklace with sturdy silver-plated brooch pins and can be repositioned as you wish.

Option #2: This second Classic design features three to four "classically" draped single-strands of brilliant glass beads in various sizes and shapes. This "Option #2" necklace is the most traditional, as the single strands lay by themselves, perfectly positioned across the chest. Each strand is highlighted by polished glass pearls and beads, and is accented by faceted crystal beads and silver-plated metal beads.

Retail price: Only $50.00 for a custom necklace made with all YOUR preferred colors! This price also includes 2 fabric flowers that will be made to perfectly coordinate with your chosen colors. These flowers are completely removable and adjustable, as they will be attached to the necklace with sturdy silver-plated brooch pins and can be repositioned as you wish.

Option #3: This third Classic design features 6 to 8 cascading single-strands of glass beads and pearls in various sizes and shapes. Each strand is made of varying lengths and then layered on top of one another to make a beautiful cascade of beads across the chest. Each single-strand is highlighted by polished glass beads and pearls, and accented by faceted crystal beads, glass seed beads, and silver-plated metal beads.

These necklaces make fabulous gifts! And they come in my pretty {jewelry by jessica theresa} signature pink boxes, ribbons, and packaging!

A Delightful Pink Custom {{Classic Collection}}!

Today I'd like to share with you all a little {Custom Collection} necklace for a friend of a friend, who had been (in her words) "stalking" my jewelry for several weeks now. She didn't want anything too bulky or expensive, as she requested smaller beads yet lots of cascading strands.

Pretty sure this is the BEST color combination ever! Not that I'm biased or anything....

With or without the flower, this necklace is rather awesome, if I do say so myself... ;-)

And the flowers are a super feminine bonus...as it gives the necklace the ultimate {jewelry by jessica theresa} signature look!

I added two pink flowers (but forgot to snap pictures with both!) and LOVED how it looked! So I sent it off this morning with both flowers because I couldn't resist! It's truly a {statement} piece!

Enjoy!

Happy Halloween!

I've been up since 3am. Not sure if it's because I have too much on my mind....or....perhaps I'm still recovering from the sugar shock and my blood sugar is still 893.

Although, don't get me wrong here, as I do happen to have a significant fondness for this time of day. I've been an early riser since I was a little girl (4am is a totally normal wake-up time for me). I have always loved the early morning hours of silence, productivity, and the opportunity to fit in a great sweaty workout all before 7am.

But let's be honest, 3am is a little much. I'm totally going to blame it on the sugar. I've been a super dedicated vegetarian and healthy-eating freak for years, but if you put a bowl of candy in front of me, it's game over. I can pretty much guarantee that I will inhale the vast majority the bowl's contents in no time flat. Last night was no exception, as I wouldn't be surprised if I put down a good 6,000 calories in chocolate alone....

Anyways, in honor of my insomnia, enjoy these pictures of my cute kids on Halloween!

Preschool party! My son is the little Lightning McQueen race car driver in middle of the back row. I SWORE up and down that I never would buy my kids any "licensed character" stuff (aka....Lightning McQueen, Mickey Mouse, etc), but....I failed. The kid loves McQueen.

Trick-or-Treating with friends!

Isn't he cute?

Me and my boys at the preschool party! Love it, although I wish the baby was smiling...? Or at least content...? To say he's "high maintenance" is a total understatement...

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
