Here is the next installment to my {Mommy and Me Collection}, in pretty purples and turquoise! I finished up Part 1: {The Mommy} last night, and today's project is Part 2: {The Me}. :-) Enjoy!

Now, time to get my buns out the door for a 14-miler training run. The season isn't over yet! Woot woot... ;-)

Introducing...The {{Mommy and Me Collection}}!!

Introducing....The {{Mommy and Me Collection}}!! I'm so excited about this collection. I'm a huge sucker for being one of "those" moms who likes to match/coordinate her kids clothes, and I've been dreaming up this collection since I started making jewelry! Since I have 2 boys, I put it on the back burner for awhile, but I've had so many friends ask about it....so here it is!

Part 1: {{The Mommy}}

(or Grandma, Auntie, Godmother, etc)

A beautiful, multi-strand draping of assorted chocolate brown, bronze, turquoise, teal, light blue, gold, and amber beads. Accented by perfectly coordinating fabric flowers with matching light blue pearls in the middles. All flowers are totally removable, as they are attached with broach pins.

Part 2: {{The Me}}

A perfectly coordinating, but much more petite and appropriately sized necklace for little girls (daughters, nieces, granddaughter, goddaughters, etc). Features coordinating strands of cascading pearls, seed beads, crystal beads, and glass beads to replicate {{The Mommy}} version of this super fun necklace pairing.

It's finally done! My latest {{Fringe Collection}} necklace is officially complete....rounding out at about 12 hours of work. And I'm in love with it!

Treasury Fun: "I Love My Green Bay Packers!"

Just 24 hours after I posted my Etsy Treasury of "Watermelon Love", guess what I happened to do while slicing my delicious watermelon this morning? Yup...sliced the h#ll out of my finger (my middle finger too, no less)!!

Before I head over to my parent's house to get this sucker stitched up since it won't stop bleeding....(good thing my pops is an Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon! He came in handy when I was a little girl...as my klutzy self has the 300 scars and healed broken bones to prove it!)....I thought I would post a little Treasury Tribute to our beloved Green Bay Packers. It is Football Sunday after all!! :-)

The Fringe Collection...Update!

Almost done with my latest {Fringe Collection} necklace!!!

This is about 10 hours of work so far...which is why it's taking me all week to finish it. Mommyhood always comes first, and all of my spare time goes to my passion...making jewelry of course! And even though it's taking me a week to compete, I'm loving the way it's turning out!!!

I'm thinking I like the creamy ivory and chocolatey brown flowers to accent it?

Treasury Fun: "Watermelon Love!"

I have a confession: Between me and my 4-year old son, I'm pretty certain that we consume an entire watermelon....a day. Yes. You read that right...

Every week, we make the 'rounds to all the local Farmer's Market stands in search of those amazing watermelons that are so deliciously in season right now....and every night, we find ourselves polishing off yet another whole watermelon. One wonderful lady even knows my car so well that as soon as we pull up to her stand, she waltzes right up to my window with 2 beautiful 'melons, takes my cash, says a quick "hello" to my kids, and wishes us a safe trip home as we drive off. It's heavenly.

So, in honor of our mad love for watermelon these days, I created a "Watermelon Love" treasury list this morning, featuring some of Etsy's finest! Enjoy... :-)
