A Custom Fringe Necklace....for ME!

After making 3 custom {{Fringe Collection}} necklaces over the course of a week, I couldn't take it anymore, as each one was getting increasingly harder to part with.....

So, whats a devoted jewelry lover to do??
MAKE MY OWN! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Yes, this beauty is all mine! I make it with all-time favorite color combination, rosy pink, light pink, and white! It just oozes girlishness, and essentially matches half my wardrobe already. ;-)

After referencing this {{Fringe Collection}} necklace to a few friends of mine, they convinced me to snap pictures and show it off! So here it is. :-) I can't take it off!

I wore it out and about to do some Christmas shopping yesterday with my husband and kiddos, and I received five...yes FIVE compliments on this necklace in a 2-hour time period! My oh-so-amazing husband....who is trying to become my official {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} CEO....was immediately ready to whip out my business cards to each person who complimented by necklace! I already received one email inquiry about a replica! YES!

I wasn't planning on taking the time to snap pictures of this necklace, but after referencing this {{Fringe Collection}} necklace to a few friends of mine, they convinced me to show it off anyways. :-)

I pour my heart and SOUL into every statement creation I make. And I have found (the hard way) that the ONLY way I am ok with "parting" with my creations once they are sold and I send them off, is to take a little break from customs every once and awhile and MAKE MY OWN! It makes it much easier to part with my creations if I have MY very own {jewelry by jessica theresa} jewelry hanging around my neck at all times! ♥

This necklace features literally hundreds and hundreds of glass pearls and crystals, in gorgeous shades of deep pink, rosy pink, light pink, and pearly white. It reminds me of Valentine's day, but I'm going to pretend its my ultimate girly-icy-wintery creation for the cold season..

Baby, it's cold outside! So I've gotta have something to brighten up my day when our brutal Wisconsin winters get long.

Wednesday...Recovery Day!

Well, we are all still recovering from the flu. I feel very weak and useless today, and I swear my kids both look a lot skinnier. They both have on their "stretchy" PJs (the tighter fitting, long underwear-looking kind), and they both look scrawny! When we all feel better, I'm going to need to plump them both up a bit before our "well-child" checks at the doctor's office next week. My kids are both already on the "lower end" of the growth charts for weight...and always have been.....but I hope they didn't dip too much from this past week! I think some ginormous helpings of avocado, olive oil, and maybe some extra Christmas cookies are in order once these kiddos are recovered!

My husband came home from work this morning with all the symptoms my kiddos and I have already been suffering from. Poor guy. He's a dentist, and his office was NOT exactly happy with his early departure, since he was the only dentist in house today. But I'm sure his patients don't want their dental work done by a contagiously ill dentist!

I need to care for all THREE of my baby boys today (why don't mommy's get sick days?!), so here are a few snapshots of my latest creation for my{{Mommy and Me Collection}}, made for an amazing mama and her adorable soon-to-be-four year old daughter!

The younger recipient of this stylish necklace duo LOVES the color purple, so she requested a necklace made with lots of purple and a splash of blue.

With or without the flowers, both necklaces are still super stunning. :-)

The {mini statement} necklace features four cascading strands of glass beads, made to perfectly coordinate with the {mommy statement} necklace. All the beads in this necklace are smaller and very appropriately sized for the wee ones! It also features a 2-inch extender chain at the back of the necklace, to allow for plenty of room to grow! It fit my 4-year old son (he insisted on trying it on before we packaged it up, since this is for his good friend Hayden!), and it fit me! It's very versatile, thanks to that extra chain.

The {mommy statement} necklace features five cascading strands of glass beads, made in various shades of pretty purples and some splashes of royal blue to give it a little extra punch of color.

A super bright purple fabric flower completes the look. I sewed the middle of the flower with the same beads I used in the necklace, to really bring everything together! The royal blue crystal beads really "pop"!

But those bright purple flowers are rather irresistible, aren't they? Happy Birthday, Hayden! :-)

Pink and Gray are Popular Today!

My next custom order is for a wonderful customer who is living the good life smack downtown Chicago! ;-) I'm ultimately a "city girl" at heart, as I lived and loved living in downtown Milwaukee for several years while I went to nursing school and my husband went to dental school at Marquette University. We lived on the top floor of a fabulous apartment building and fell asleep looking at the Milwaukee skyline every night. I loved it.

Anyways, so this lovely lady gets to sport her custom {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} necklace downtown Chicago! I sent an extra little stack of business cards with the necklace, per her request, just in case any of her downtown and/or uptown buddies happen to like what they see... ;-)

I'm pretty sure the most requested necklace of the season this year is my pink and gray {{Classic Collection}} necklace as seen here! This is the fourth custom necklace I've made like this, and my desire to keep it continues to get stronger and stronger because each one gets better and better! :-)

My customer loved loved the look of the pink and gray {{Classic Collection}} necklace. There is a reason why I have made these colors my {jewelry by jessica theresa} "theme", so it makes me giddy to see this color combo become a popular request. This exact design and coloring will forever be near and dear to my heart! ♥

It features 9 cascading strands of light pink, pink, graphite gray, and a deep charcoal gray! It's accented with tons of pink and gray pearls, and lots of pink crystals to add tons of sparkle as soon as it hits the light! ♥

And let's not forget the ultimate addition....the signature flower from my friend Apollonia Dils!

This necklace would look nice and bright with the pink flower, or you can tone it down with the gray flower.

Or if she is wanting to make a SUPER statement, she can wear this necklace with both flowers! Hope she enjoys it!!! ♥ ♥ Thanks Sarah!

Another {{SUPER Statement!}}!

So far, I have made three {{Super Statement}} collection necklaces. And all three took me about 12 hours each to create. They make the ultimate statement in every way possible! So it's time to introduce the next one:

I decided to make this beauty in various shades of red, gold, and purple....basically all the colors that I didn't use in my first {Super Statement} necklace! ;-)

This necklace was another 12 hours of hard work...and worth every second! To be super specific on the colors I used, it features coordinating shades of yellow gold, metallic gold, bright red, brick red, plum, lavender, and bright purple. It's awesome!

Once again, it's 20 stunning strands of cascading beads.

I've been working on this necklace off and on for about a week now. I got my inspiration from this fabulous vintage looking flower made by my friend Apollonia Dils. The flower features beautiful red satin, purple and ivory buttons, and gold vintage findings.

Yes the flower is big, but the necklace is a SUPER STUNNER to match!

Of course, it features my favorite beads....glass petite seed beads, pearls, and crystals. The ultimate trifecta combination of beads.

WELL worth the quality and hard work! :-)

A Fabulous Custom for a Fabulous Customer!

Next up? Another custom!!

My {{Classic Collection}} necklaces seem to be the most popular by far! This is a very good thing, because it's my favorite necklace to make, of course! I find it extremely gratifying to choose the beads. It's never just about throwing some beads on a string for me. My {{jewelry by jessica creations}} are about choosing the right COLOR bead, then choosing the right SIZE bead, and then choosing the right LOCATION for the bead. It's a very meticulous system I have down pat in my head. I'm totally obsessive about bead choice, color, and placement. I'm told that's what sets my creations apart from just plain ol' bead stringing!

This custom was ordered by a FABULOUS loyal customer! This time, she requested a {{Classic Collection}} - Option #3 with 7-8 strands of varying shades of brown, accented by forest green, creamy ivory, and a hint of gold.

Since this color combo tends to take on a very "earthy" vibe, I decided to incorporate lots of brown stone chips and sandy colored larger stones to really give it a beautiful earthy feel. :-)

This beauty features 8 cascading strands of glass beads, pearls, stones, crystals, seed beads, and stone chips! In pretty shades of chocolate brown, bronze, copper, sandy brown, forest green, sparkly gold, and creamy ivory pearls.

And I added my signature {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} flower to tie everything together in a feminine way!

This lovely flower was handsewn by my fabulous friend Apollonia Dils over at Apples Modern Art :-)
Then I accented the middle of this flower with perfectly coordinating forest green glass beads...just like in the necklace itself!

I think it turned out beautiful! And I hope the recipient loves it too. :-)

What's Black, Silver, and Green All Over...?

What's Black, gray, and green all over?

My next custom necklace, of course!

My next custom necklace was made with my {{Classic Collection}} - Option #3 design. It features 8 cascading strands of absolutely STUNNING glass beads, pearls, and crystals. The trifecta of this glass bead-pearl-crystal look is totally my favorite by far. I've literally made nearly a hundred necklaces and bracelets now, and I ALWAYS go back to this bead combo!

Everyone seems to love this green-black-gray-silver combo! Which makes me ecstatic, of course! :)

A friend of mine loved my green Classic Collection necklace I made a few weeks ago, so she requested a similar design. :-)

It features varying shades of lime green, sage green, graphite gray, black, and silver.

Each bead was deliberately and carefully threaded by me to lay perfectly across the chest.

I'm extremely meticulous on bead placement. I have a whole system in my head as to what beads can be placed next to/on top of/or underneath one another. This creates the ultimate "cascade" of shine, sparkle, and overall texture

It's a great combination for the Holidays! Green and sparkly silver will make a great {{Statement}} for any Holiday party. Hope she enjoys it!

I've Got The BLUES!

I was quite inspired by the Red {{Classic Collection}} necklace I just made, since it was basically a single overall color (red), highlighted by several different SHADES in the color (brick red, bright red, garnet red, orangy-red, etc).

So. I did the same thing in BLUE!

This necklace features several shades of deep blues and sky blues. No teals or turquoises here....it's seriously BLUE and absolutely awesome in person.

It is also accented by TONS of crystal beads and beautiful almond-colored pearls to give it a little variety.
I cannot even begin to describe how pretty these blues are "IRL" (an internet term I just learned that stands for "In Real Life"). My 4-year old, extremely color-conscious son exclaimed "Wow Mama! That is SO BLUE!" when he saw it this morning! :-)
This necklace would look AWESOME with denim.
So much blue! I use all glass beads, so you can be sure my necklaces are made with awesome quality beads.
And of course a flower to give it my signature staple! Thanks Apples Modern Art!!!
Apple is my girl. She makes my signature flowers happen! And then I like to add my special touch to match the flowers to each necklace. :-)
I sewed some coordinating blue beads to the middle of this flower to really tie the entire necklace all together. It's so awesomely coordinated!
Nowadays, all my necklaces and bracelets feature a 2-inch extender chain to make it very versatile and very easily adjustable.
It's going to Etsy! So go check it out!

Celebrate the Holidays!

Just in time for the Holidays! A gorgeous Christmas red {[Classic Collection}} necklace! It's that time of year, where everyone is getting their invites to those yearly Holiday parties we all must attend. :-)

Five or ten years ago, whenever I received a party invite, the first thing that went through my head was "OMG what am I going to wear?".

Now that I'm a mommy, the first thought that runs through my head whenever I receive a party invite....(umm, please let me preface this by saying, my hubby and I are definitely boring and not exactly popular, so party invites are always a shocker!)...is "OMG who is going to babysit??!?".

My my...how things have changed....

This classic necklace was so much fun to make. I even listened to cheesy Christmas music while designing it. Holiday inspiration at it's best.

It's ready to ship to a good home! I'm listing this one on Etsy!

It features 8 cascading strands of glass beads, crystals, glass seed beads, stones, stone chips, and pearls. Once again, my camera does not do this necklace any justice, because it's amazing in person! The faceted crystals really make it sparkle!

This beauty features all sorts of vibrant red tones, including ruby red, brick red, garnet, claret, metallic red, and some gorgeous orange-red large stones and stone chips.

A few bright red flowers with sparkly silver centers to give it my {jewelry by jessica theresa} signature!

I now put a 2-inch extender chain at the back of every necklace to make super versatile, depending on your outfit. :-) And I also love to add a cute crystal dangle charm at the end of the extender chain...to match the necklace and give it a fun detail.

It looks amazing against white, and it's guaranteed to be stunning with that Little Black Dress!

Go check it out at my Etsy shop! You KNOW you need something sparkly for the Holidays... ;-)
