The Possibilities are Endless!!! :-) :-)

One of my favorite craft stores was having a decent sale last week, so I skipped over and took a peak.

Me + Craft Store + No Children = Heaven
Just sayin'...

Anyways! I all of a sudden became super inspired by all the beautiful tribal-infused beads, earthy tones, stone chip beads, detailed antiquey beads, and mixed metals I saw. So...I went to town....and bought a ton of these beads! I honestly have like 3,238 different ideas for them in my head right now! Can't wait to start designing, creating, and showing off what I'm envisioning in this chaotic brain of mine! ;-)

After spending a million hours organizing my stash of beads, I designed and created this beauty yesterday.......

Lots of cascading strands in earthy shades of copper, pewter, graphite, black, burgundy, and sandy brown.

All accent beads have intricate detailing to really give it that aged, antique look. It's a nice change from my typical bright {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} "style"!

 I. Am. Madly. In. Love. With. This. Necklace.

The mixed metals REALLY make me giddy. I absolutely LOVE this part of being a jewelry designer....all the different combinations! I am constantly being inspired by new beads, colors, designs, etc. I feel like I'm doing what I was BORN to do. :-) This isn't "work" for me at all....it's a passion!

I have to share with you all a little story. Yesterday afternoon, my parents were over for the Packer Game while I was making this necklace. My dad held up the finished product and said "Holy cow, Jess! You made this?! Wow. You need to go big with this jewelry thing!"

For a man of few words, those words made me ECSTATIC! Those of you who happen to know my (super intense, super intimating) dad, can likely vouch for the fact that words like that rarely....if ever....exit his mouth. Love you, daddy!

The possibilities are endless! And the thousands of ideas I have in my head will no doubt continue to grow! Please "grow" with me? I'm excited for what the future holds!!

Neutrals and Greens {{Classic Collection}} Design!

I must admit....I've been up since 2:30am this morning. Not because I WANTED to, but because my littlest babe, Kellen, decided to give me a run for my money (err, a run for my sleep?). It took several attempts to get him back to sleep, but once I was finally successful, I was WIDE awake.

Any normal person probably would have taken that time to relax in bed, read, listen to sleepy music, etc in the effort to get themselves back to sleep. But not me. The crazy Type A personality residing in me decided to use that early morning quiet time to accomplish a few of the 2.349 things on my to-do list. So, I spent 5 hours this morning organizing my beads, cleaning the house a tad, and finishing up this creation....all while listening to some fabulous indie Christmas Music, sipping some Gingerbread flavored coffee, and spending some quality time with my beloved old kitty cat Millie.

So. Without further ado, allow me to show off this {{Classic Collection}} design! It features beautiful, neutral shades of creamy ivories, chocolate browns, tans, pearly whites, and pretty greens!
This necklace is highlighted by five beaded strands, carefully positioned to drape "classically" across the chest. A very timeless design in a very timeless color combination. :-)
No {jewelry by jessica theresa} necklace is complete without a few signature flowers, of course! This combination of creamy ivory and light brown flowers seems to be the most popular. I'm regularly getting requests for this "flowering" duo!
Flowers are always attached to broach pins, therefore they can be removed and repositioned as you see fit!
Looks just as stunning with the single flower! Why not pin the other one on your purse? Or your jacket! The "flowering" possibilities are endless....
This necklace features all glass beads, pearls, and gorgeous green stone chips to really make a unique statement. Shiny pearls juxtaposed with earthy stones? Why not! Some of my "fans" and customers had been requesting necklaces in more of the neutral tones. :-) I'm listening and appreciate all feedback!!! :-)
I made a custom-coordinated flower for this necklace, featuring the same green glass bead used in the design. This picture doesn't do this flower justice, but it's SO cute in person!

Omigod I need a new camera!!!
Is there a twitter hashtag for #AllIWantForChristmasIsAKickAssCamera??
No? Darn. ;-)

Ok that's all for now. It's PACKER SUNDAY! And we are hosting a little gig over at our house with my folks. Go Pack go!

Next Up....{{Beaded Cuffs} with Glass Seed Beads

Next up....glass seed bead cuffs!

Last night, I experimented with my trusty supply of glass seed beads. This bracelet is made of multiple strands of glass seed beads, woven together to make one outstanding {{Beaded Cuff}}!!

For this cuff, I decided to string together 12 different strands of shiny little seed beads. I used three different "main" colors.....browns, whites, and greens....and then used some varying shades within each group.

The "browns" include chocolate brown, bronze, and copper. The "greens" include forest green and teal blue. And the "whites" include creamy ivory and shiny clear.
When braided together, this color combo really goes well together!

And true to my {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} style, I decided to experiment with some flowers on my cuffs! The photographs don't do these justice, but in person, the cuff and matching flowers look SO FUN and SO unique together!
The flowers are totally adjustable and removable, so you can place them wherever your heart desires. I'm totally in love with this cuff!
