A {Fringe Collection} Necklace for a Fabulous Mama!

I'm so pumped that I get to do all sorts of different custom orders this month!! For awhile, I had been doing the {{Classic Collection}} - Option #3 over and over again (which is AWESOME! It's definitely one of my fav designs!), but this month I get to have an awesome variety! A {[Twisted Collection}}, a {{Beaded Rope Collection}}, a {[Classic Collection #1}}, and now a {{Fringe Collection}}! I love love love the variety, as I made my 10 original designs different from one another for a reason... ;-)

My {[Fringe Collection}} necklaces happen to be super DUPER different from all my other ones, as I get to use an entirely different set of tools and supplies :-)

This {{Fringe Collection}} necklace is a custom order for a fabulous mama friend again! I'm SOOOO excited to see her in this necklace!
It features all sorts of warm tones, including a chocolaty brown, yellow gold, and dusty rose.

It is highlighted by hundreds and hundreds of dangling "fringe" accents....all of which were handmade and assembled by me with my trusty tools. :-)

It's very time consuming to create a {{Fringe Collection}} necklace, but it's SO worth it. I guarantee you will never find something like this in the stores! At least not as meticulously detailed and sturdy as mine are, anyways! I always have my 4-year old shake each necklace after I complete them, because if anything is loose, it's NOT good enough and NOT done yet!

Add a few feminine light pink and bronzy brown flowers to match!

This necklace also features hundreds of shiny glass pearls and sparkly crystals. And since my pictures usually don't do my creations any justice, I can assure you this necklace REALLY catches the light!

I honestly can't WAIT for my mama friend to wear this necklace. She has been looking MIGHTY fabulous lately, and this necklace will totally unleash her inner girly girl. :-)
I also add a 2-inch extender chain on all of my necklaces...complete with a coordinating beaded "fringe" dangle at the end

Hours upon hours of hard work that ultimately result in a pretty darn cool creation!

Time to Officially Introduct....{{The Super Statement Collection}}

It's time to officially roll out my next collection....the {{Super Statement Collection}}!

I've been working on this next set of necklaces for awhile now. At first, I wasn't going to promote or sell these necklaces, because they are TRULY works of art. Each one has taken me almost 12 hours to complete, so I think they are going to be REALLY hard to part with unless they are going to a REALLY great home.. :-)

Let me warn you...these {{Super Statement}} necklaces are NOT for the faint of heart.... :-)

This first {[Super Statement}} features all of my favorite bright and cheery colors. Although this color combo doesn't exactly scream "holiday", it will DEFINITELY set you apart from the crowd if worn to a Holiday party! This necklace DEMANDS attention!! <3

I'm not sure if anyone will buy something this awesomely huge and heavy, but let me tell you, this necklace is AMAZING in person!

It features 20....yes TWENTY....beaded strands, cascading in a gorgeous work of art. It's 12 hours of work, and I'm SO proud of it! I don't know if I will ever be able to part with it! It's over $100 worth of beads alone. :-)

I got my inspiration from this fabulous flower made by Apollonia Dils from Apples Modern Art!
The flower features gorgeous bright shades of brown, bright pink, yellow, green, and blue. So...I went to town!

The necklace features 20 beaded, cascading strands in shades of browns, bronze, magenta, fuchsia, pink, green, turquoise blue, gold, and yellow.

It has TONS and TONS of crystals, pearls, and super shiny glass petite beads. I wasn't kidding when I said it DEMANDS attention! <3

I cannot stop staring at it!

I want to make more like this SUPER Statement necklace, but I'm not sure if they will sell. I will have to price them at well over $100, just to cover the cost of the beads alone. Is there an interest? Let me know! I will gladly go to town!!! <3 <3

A Fabulous Custom for a Fabulous Customer!

Next up? Another custom!!

My {{Classic Collection}} necklaces seem to be the most popular by far! This is a very good thing, because it's my favorite necklace to make, of course! I find it extremely gratifying to choose the beads. It's never just about throwing some beads on a string for me. My {{jewelry by jessica creations}} are about choosing the right COLOR bead, then choosing the right SIZE bead, and then choosing the right LOCATION for the bead. It's a very meticulous system I have down pat in my head. I'm totally obsessive about bead choice, color, and placement. I'm told that's what sets my creations apart from just plain ol' bead stringing!

This custom was ordered by a FABULOUS loyal customer! This time, she requested a {{Classic Collection}} - Option #3 with 7-8 strands of varying shades of brown, accented by forest green, creamy ivory, and a hint of gold.

Since this color combo tends to take on a very "earthy" vibe, I decided to incorporate lots of brown stone chips and sandy colored larger stones to really give it a beautiful earthy feel. :-)

This beauty features 8 cascading strands of glass beads, pearls, stones, crystals, seed beads, and stone chips! In pretty shades of chocolate brown, bronze, copper, sandy brown, forest green, sparkly gold, and creamy ivory pearls.

And I added my signature {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} flower to tie everything together in a feminine way!

This lovely flower was handsewn by my fabulous friend Apollonia Dils over at Apples Modern Art :-)
Then I accented the middle of this flower with perfectly coordinating forest green glass beads...just like in the necklace itself!

I think it turned out beautiful! And I hope the recipient loves it too. :-)

Another Day, Another Beauty!

It's been a popular week for the {{Beaded Cuff Collection}}! I'm in the middle of doing my 4th beaded cuff this week. What's pretty awesome is the fact that EVERY cuff has been an entirely different color combination! I love seeing new color combos together...especially when doing custom orders. It's inspiring for me, because oftentimes I find myself daydreaming about future creations using similar color combinations! Good stuff. :-)

Once again, I was told not to reveal any information about the giver or recipient of this cuff, so my lips are sealed!

This cuff features a pretty combination of neutrals, including shiny gold, a bronzy-brown, and creamy ivory.

This cuff will go with so many different color combinations! Neutral tones are so perfect for the versatility. ♥

And of course, no cuff would be complete without a pretty {flower}. Thanks Apples Modern Art! :-)
This flower is a light gold to compliment the cuff, and is accented by ivory pearls in the middle.

And this cuff looks just as fun with a matching brown flower!

Or BOTH!! I love wearing my cuffs with 2 flowers. I love the look of the "corsage"...it's so stunning and different!

A little snapshot of the gold flower on my wrist. :)
And yes, for those who asked, that is indeed a wedding ring tattoo on my ring finger! ;-) It was me and my hubby Brandon Roth's anniversary gift to each other last year. :-)

You will not find this awesome-looking bracelet in stores. Trust me!

Neutrals and Greens {{Classic Collection}} Design!

I must admit....I've been up since 2:30am this morning. Not because I WANTED to, but because my littlest babe, Kellen, decided to give me a run for my money (err, a run for my sleep?). It took several attempts to get him back to sleep, but once I was finally successful, I was WIDE awake.

Any normal person probably would have taken that time to relax in bed, read, listen to sleepy music, etc in the effort to get themselves back to sleep. But not me. The crazy Type A personality residing in me decided to use that early morning quiet time to accomplish a few of the 2.349 things on my to-do list. So, I spent 5 hours this morning organizing my beads, cleaning the house a tad, and finishing up this creation....all while listening to some fabulous indie Christmas Music, sipping some Gingerbread flavored coffee, and spending some quality time with my beloved old kitty cat Millie.

So. Without further ado, allow me to show off this {{Classic Collection}} design! It features beautiful, neutral shades of creamy ivories, chocolate browns, tans, pearly whites, and pretty greens!
This necklace is highlighted by five beaded strands, carefully positioned to drape "classically" across the chest. A very timeless design in a very timeless color combination. :-)
No {jewelry by jessica theresa} necklace is complete without a few signature flowers, of course! This combination of creamy ivory and light brown flowers seems to be the most popular. I'm regularly getting requests for this "flowering" duo!
Flowers are always attached to broach pins, therefore they can be removed and repositioned as you see fit!
Looks just as stunning with the single flower! Why not pin the other one on your purse? Or your jacket! The "flowering" possibilities are endless....
This necklace features all glass beads, pearls, and gorgeous green stone chips to really make a unique statement. Shiny pearls juxtaposed with earthy stones? Why not! Some of my "fans" and customers had been requesting necklaces in more of the neutral tones. :-) I'm listening and appreciate all feedback!!! :-)
I made a custom-coordinated flower for this necklace, featuring the same green glass bead used in the design. This picture doesn't do this flower justice, but it's SO cute in person!

Omigod I need a new camera!!!
Is there a twitter hashtag for #AllIWantForChristmasIsAKickAssCamera??
No? Darn. ;-)

Ok that's all for now. It's PACKER SUNDAY! And we are hosting a little gig over at our house with my folks. Go Pack go!

Time to Officially Introduce... {{The Beaded Cuff Collection}}!

Introducing....{{The Beaded Cuff Collection}}!

Time to explore some new horizons into the land of eye-catching cuffs! It's the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe. :-)

Between this past Thursday and Friday, I literally spent 16 hours experimenting with these cuffs and trying to figure out the best way to make them.

Since I'm entirely self-taught, I often find the "design" process the most fun. I LOOOOVE figuring out how to make something all on my own. It's a weird little personal victory every time I figure out a new design! ;-)

If something wasn't "laying" right or "braiding" right, it threw off the whole look. So it was a lot of hard work for figuring out how to do this one little bracelet, but it was SOOOO worth it! My husband calls me the "Jewelry Engineer" since I take things apart so much, and will willingly put it back together 800 times before I'm satisfied.... ;-)

I'm pretty sure these cuffs are a lot harder to make than necklaces, because they are so carefully braided and soo much shorter than necklaces, thus there is LITTLE room for error.

And for me, perfection is not optional and "good enough" is not even a choice. I will take something apart 100 times until I get it right. :-)

Confession: I already took apart the bracelets I made earlier this week (as seen HERE) because they were NOT good enough for my standards. I was starring at them all week long and thinking to myself "I can do better". Bwhaaa ha ha! :-)

More to Love From {{The Fringe Collection}}!!

Now then! Back to work!

After a busy month of marathon training, a few family birthdays, and a beautifully large handful of orders...both through my Etsy store and private orders...I'm ready to hit the ground running again! (And just in case anyone is wondering the best way to contact me/buy from me, it's best if you use my Etsy Store. It's much easier for me to properly keep tract of everything!)

Right now I'm working on another addition to my {{Fringe Collection}}. After heeding lots of feedback from you guys, this one is going to feature several different shades of beautiful neutrals! Including chocolate brown (my favorite accent color!), bronze, gold, silver, deep ivory, cream, and white. I adore this combination because the chocolate brown means it will look phenomenal with anything brown or khaki, the silver and gold means it will look smashing with whatever additional jewelry you wear (no matter if it's silver OR gold, of course!), and the ivories and whites really balance it out to compliment a wide variety of skin tones!

Once complete, this stunner will also feature two fabric flowers (attached with broach pins and totally removable) in gorgeous shades of cream and brown, and accented by creamy white pearls in the middle. I have a good feeling this necklace is going to be a hit!

Here are some pictures of my work in progress:
