Best. Winter. Color. Combo. EVER!

I'm drooling over the finished product of my most recent creation. Seriously drooling. I haven't done many custom orders with blues or whites lately, so I decided to do take a quick (um, if you count 8 hours as "quick", I guess?) break from custom orders for a day and make a {{Fringe Collection}} necklace exclusively for sale on Etsy!

And OK....I must admit....I got on a little {{Fringe Collection}} kick right after I made the pink/gold/chocolate Fringe necklace for my wonderful mama friend!! I had all of my supplies and tools out to make my Fringe necklaces, so I went to town and made another!

I am a very "seasonal" person...meaning, I tend to let myself get wrapped up in the festivities and colors that each new season brings. In other words, I love pretty pastels in the Spring, bright pinks and bright colors in the Summer, bold burgundies and golds in the Fall, and icy whites and blues in the Winter. Change is good! And it keeps life interesting!

So, I decided to go for an icy-wintery theme with this {{Fringe Collection}} necklace! I LOOOOOVE the look of the bright blues, bright whites, and shiny silver colors together. It just sings "winter" to me!

My Fringe necklaces usually take at LEAST 7-8 hours to complete, since I wrap each and every fringy "dangle" by hand. This particular necklace features various shades of navy blue, sky blue, and an opalescent blue to give it a tiny colorful twist. It also features bright bright whites and super shiny silvers and light grays. Together, this color combo is goooorgeous!

And of course, I accented this necklace with coordinating flowers, in shades of blue-gray and white. This necklace also has tons of crystals....over 1/3 of this necklace is made of them!

It's begging to go to a good home, as this beauty is going straight to Etsy!

Because I Can't Help Myself.......

For me, creating these {{Super Statement}} necklaces is basically like creating a work of art. It literally begins as a blank canvas of beads and wire, just begging to be made into something amazing. I so carefully string each and every bead to lay appropriately amongst the rest. I choose each pearl and each crystal so that it creates just enough shine and sparkle in all the right places. You should see me when I make some of my creations, as I literally will run circles around my "creation station"....I stand up, walk around, kneel down, etc, just to be sure each beaded strand looks and behaves exactly how I want it to! ;-)

So here is my next {{Super Statement}] necklace! I created this one in my signature colors, with a little extra emphasis on the bright pinks and magentas. If you are gonna make a statement, why not go all out and make it with bright colors, right?? ;-)

This necklace features 20 strands of cascading seed beads, large and small crystals, and shiny pearls. I also used a bunch of silver sparkly "chip"-like beads that I retrieved from an old necklace my mom had hiding in the back of her jewelry box. I'm thinking they are circa 1980?? Can't really call that vintage quite yet, right?

Whenever I create a necklace with a specific color combo....ie, "pink"....I always use a range of various shades within the color to really give it some depth. For instance, nstead of just using "pink", I will use some magenta, dusty rose, fuchsia, watermelon, etc, just like you see in this necklace!

And once again, this necklace took me about 12 hours to start and finish. And I loved every second. The finished product literally makes me giddy!

I garnered my inspiration for this necklace from this lovely flower, which is made with bright pink and gray pattered fabric, and fun vintage gold findings. It's super bright and bold, and totally looks amazing next to the coordinating beads, pearls, and crystals.

I also found some awesome looking graphite gray beads that are shaped like cubes! They are extremely shiny and really catch the light, so I interspersed them throughout each strand. :-)

12 hours of crazy fun hard work!!!! <3

Not for the faint of heart, but DEFINITELY for those who like to be noticed... ;-)

What's Black, Silver, and Green All Over...?

What's Black, gray, and green all over?

My next custom necklace, of course!

My next custom necklace was made with my {{Classic Collection}} - Option #3 design. It features 8 cascading strands of absolutely STUNNING glass beads, pearls, and crystals. The trifecta of this glass bead-pearl-crystal look is totally my favorite by far. I've literally made nearly a hundred necklaces and bracelets now, and I ALWAYS go back to this bead combo!

Everyone seems to love this green-black-gray-silver combo! Which makes me ecstatic, of course! :)

A friend of mine loved my green Classic Collection necklace I made a few weeks ago, so she requested a similar design. :-)

It features varying shades of lime green, sage green, graphite gray, black, and silver.

Each bead was deliberately and carefully threaded by me to lay perfectly across the chest.

I'm extremely meticulous on bead placement. I have a whole system in my head as to what beads can be placed next to/on top of/or underneath one another. This creates the ultimate "cascade" of shine, sparkle, and overall texture

It's a great combination for the Holidays! Green and sparkly silver will make a great {{Statement}} for any Holiday party. Hope she enjoys it!

My Current Creation Obsession...

Next up.....

A necklace that has become my current obsession. I'm totally in love with it, and I'm silently crying inside that I have to package it up and send it off!!!

But it's going to be a fantastic gift that a loyal customer of mine will be giving to her niece! So that makes me happy. :-) I cannot wait to hear her reaction!

The pictures DO NOT do this necklace justice whatsoever. My husband's jaw dropped when he saw it in person this morning, because it just sparkles so much! And of course, you can't tell that in the picture. Booooo.

This necklace is a version of my {[Classic Collection}} - Option #3. It features 10 cascading strands of super shiny glass seed beads in gorgeous shades of pink, magenta, black, and graphite.

If {jewelry by jessica theresa} had an official jewelry "anthem"...this would be it. Tons of pink and black, tons of sparkle, and a big ol' WOWZER statement!

So, what is the appropriate action to take after making a necklace I love??? MAKE ANOTHER ONE!
And ANOTHER ONE! And that one is going on Etsy today. :-) Because I want nothing more than to spread the love!

As long as I have a replica for myself that is....
Just sayin' ;-)

I so wish the photos would show the sparkle....
Because it also features tons of faceted crystals!!

I know I say I'm in love with every creation I make (which is totally true), but I am in SUPER LOVE with this one!

Take good care of it, Shelly! ♥ ♥ ♥

Custom Order for a Purple {[Classic Collection}} Beauty

This past weekend, with the help of my FABULOUS husband, I finished 9 custom orders, totaling over 55 hours of work between Wednesday morning and Sunday night....

...and I must say, I LOVED EVERY SECOND! It's no surprise that I LOVE making jewelry, and now that my business is slowly but surely starting to pick up, I am on cloud nine. The momentum is rolling and I never want to stop! I can't wait to see what 10, 20, 30 years into the future brings. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I can't help but daydream about a storefront? Something more? I have so many ideas in my head just waiting to come to fruition... :-)
This one is a custom order for the {{Classic Collection}] - Option #3...with six cascading strands of beads, layered to lay beautifully across the chest. Although I'm dying to tag my lovely customer on my facebook page photos, since I love her color choices so much, it's a gift and I have to remain mum! ;-)

I adore doing custom orders, because it's always a personal challenge of mine to make sure the customer's vision comes to life. In addition, it's always my goal to exceed the customer's expectations! :-)

This lovely repeat customer requested a Classic Collection necklace in shades of purple, black, gray, silver, and clear!

A little purple flower can be the perfect added touch to make it extra feminine!

This particular {{Classic Collection}} design is my favorite necklace to make and wear. It's just so darn classic! And SUCH a statement. :-)

Love these colors together! It's going to a good home! And I can't wait until she sees it! ♥

More {{Beaded Cuff Collection}}! Pink, Black, and Creamy Ivory...

Another {{Beaded Cuff}}!! This time, I just had to use my all-time favorite colors...rosy pink, black, and creamy white! Perhaps it's no surprise that my entire {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} business theme is done in these colors? ;-)

Although these earrings didn't really photograph well, I made some coordinating Pink and White pearl dangle earrings with super sparkly pink and white crystal beads! I used the same beads in the bracelet, but these pictures do NOT capture the sparkle.
The earrings are super lightweight and super comfortable to wear! Although I'm not an earring expert (YET! Give me time!), I thought these weren't too shabby... :-)
And because I LOOOVE to make a {{statement}} with my jewelry, I added some coordinating and stackable pearl toggle bracelets to really add that {{jewelry by jessica theresa}} WOW factor!
Pair all these with a fitted black turtleneck, a light pink scarf, some skinny jeans and fabulous black boots...and you are good to go! Even to the grocery store. Not that I will admit to dressing up to go grocery shopping.... ;-)

Well, maybe I will admit it.

Maybe.
I'm newly obsessed with cuffs. I want to make like 500 in different color combos.

My husband thinks I should start taking pictures of my outfits for the day to demonstrate how I coordinate all my accessories together. I looooove creating new outfits each morning by simply switching up my accessories.

I wear a lot of solid color clothing, which mostly consists of tried-and-true staples like tank tops, cardigans, fitted t-shirts, simple fitted sweaters, and lots of leggings and fun boots. But you can really pump up your own personal style with accessories! I switch mine up all the time...sometimes multiple times per day, since I'm a little obsessive....but I promise that fun accessories can make the exact same outfit look entirely different each time you wear it.
Enjoy! All my cuffs will be up on Etsy soon!

Beaded Cuffs

Even though I've focused mostly on "statement" necklaces thus far, even *I* tend to prefer bracelets and earrings once the cooler weather hits. When our necklines get higher and our coats begin to take over our wardrobes, necklaces often tend to either get covered up...or....sadly, not worn at all.

Personally, I LOVE wearing big earrings, lots of bracelets, and funky scarves all winter long! Even from when I was a teenager, I've always defaulted to statement necklaces in warmer weather, and then statement bracelets and/or earrings in the cooler weather. I love variety, so what better way to mix it up than with fun accessories!

I've been dabbling in bracelets and earrings for awhile now, but I haven't posted many pictures due to my internal perfectionist telling me "not yet...you can do better!". But it's cold out! And I've been sporting my big bracelets and earrings around town for awhile now, so maybe it's time to post a few sneak peaks. :-)

Let's continue the journey into the land of bracelets and earrings with some pink stones, pearls, and sparkle accents....
